My name is Cosmo Hill-Miers and I’ve been doing things to paper for as long as I can remember. I’ve just turned 26 and, to be honest, it’s only getting worse. Paper is my favourite but I’ll give anything creative a go. This is my porfolio.
I’ve always made friends cards for their birthdays. The current range is a culmination of what I’ve learnt from every single one of them. I want my cards to be the antithesis of the generic, mass produced printed ones you can get on the high street or elsewhere online. I want my cards kept on a mantlepiece for months, and as a keepsake for longer, and for the recipient to think of the sender every time they look at it; and smile. So I try to design stylish, simple and elegant cards that are affordable and yet individual and of the highest quality. Take a look at the gallery and shop here.
Most recently I have been working on sommat a little bigger than cards. A series of limited edition framed laser cut artworks will be available in the New Year. I took the prototypes to the “We Make London” Christmas fair in Chelsea Old Town Hall and the feedback was great and even sold a few, so check back soon…
